Our mission is to work collaboratively with employers to create comprehensive human resources infrastructures that promote adherence to employment laws, the implementation of equitable human resources best practices, and employee engagement strategies that reduce staff turnover.
HR Methods envisions equitable human resources practices that pervade across all business sectors.
Katina Williams is the founder of HR Methods who helps employers create and promote adherence to employment laws and employee engagement strategies.
Before starting a human resources business, Katina gained over 20 years of expertise in the human resources field, concentrating in the areas of leave of absence administration and absence management. After successfully helping stakeholders in developing leave-of-absence policies and return-to-work programs to ensure legal compliance, Katina now works with employers to help alleviate the burden of leave-of-absence administration. In addition to mentoring in leave of absence administration, Katina offers services in recruitment and retention strategies, development of job descriptions as well as development of policy and procedures.
Katina is driven by her understanding of the interplay between FMLA, ADA, WC, and other state leave laws, as well as the importance of employers building on their understanding and education of such laws. She feels that continued education and training are the key to her success, which supports why she currently holds a designation as an Associate Disability Management Specialist and has earned certifications in Human Resources Management from Drexel Goodwin College of Professional Studies.
Katina believes in working smarter and having a balance in her life. When she is not working, Katina enjoys listening to jazz music and spending quality time with kids, family, and friends.
Katina is ready to alleviate your HR burdens and is ecstatic about working with you.
